Today is the deadline for application to four export programs administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service. The funding opportunities include the Market Access Program (MAP), Foreign Market Development Program (FMD), Technical Assistance for Specialty Crops Program (TASC), and Emerging Markets Program (EMP).

USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins said, “Our job at USDA is to open new markets for our farmers, ranchers, and producers. The previous administration left agriculture with a $50 billion trade deficit.“
The secretary continued, “President Trump and I will not sit idly by – we are actively working to open new markets and remove existing barriers. We are putting farmers first. These programs are a crucial step in sustaining long lasting economic growth in rural America.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Rollins to receive God’s wisdom as she manages USDA and its various agencies.
- For Deputy Administrator Mark Petry as he oversees the Foreign Agriculture Service.
- For President Trump and members of his administration as they promote American agriculture to international markets.
