A Wisconsin convict sought to prevent an illegal alien from testifying against him.
Milwaukee court filings this week revealed that a handwritten assassination threat against President Donald Trump that was mailed to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was sent by a convict to frame a migrant for threatening the president.
Last week, the Department of Homeland Security announced the arrest of illegal alien Ramon Morales-Reyes for sending the letter. However, Milwaukee police discovered that Demetric Deshawn Scott, who was charged with identity theft and bail jumping this week, wrote the letter in an attempt to have the federal agency arrest the migrant before he could testify against him in court.
The Milwaukee court filing stated, “During this interview, the defendant admitted that he wrote everything on the letters and envelopes himself. He stated that the letters were made without the assistance of anyone. When asked what was going through his head at the time of writing the letters, the defendant stated ‘Freedom.'”
However, the federal department will not release Morales-Reyes. “The investigation into the [threatening letter] is ongoing,” DHS stated. “Over the course of the investigation, this individual was determined to be in the country illegally and that he had a criminal record. He will remain in custody.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Noem and agents within DHS and ICE as they seek to improve the nation’s security.
- For Secret Service agents to be diligent and alert as they guard the president and other U.S. officials.
- For the Lord’s continued protection over President Trump’s life.
