In the News…
U.S. Representative Ro Khanna of California has introduced legislation that would turn President Donald Trump’s executive order to lower the prices of prescription drugs in the United States into law. Using the identical language to garner bipartisan support, Khanna has been joined by Representatives Anna Paulina Luna of Florida and Andy Biggs of Arizona.
Representative Khanna announced last week, “I am introducing legislation to codify President Trump’s executive order, ensuring Americans do not pay more than people in other countries for drugs.”
Congressman Khanna said, “If we can get this done, it would be enormous. And I actually want to get this legislation through and I’m hopeful that with Trump leading the charge on the executive order, that we would get the vast majority of Republicans to support it.”
He added, “It should be one area where the country to work together.”
