President Trump announces the economic commitment during his visit to Riyadh.
The White House announced on Tuesday the commitment by Saudi Arabia to invest $600 billion in the United States over four years. President Donald Trump made that nation the first formal visit of his second term, after attending the funeral of Pope Francis at the Vatican last month.
President Trump said, “Today we take the next steps to make our relationship closer, stronger, and more powerful than ever before.”
The White House released an outline of the commitments to come out of the Saudi investment summit, including deals in aerospace and defense, energy, and security.
