The school suspended 65 anti-Israel demonstrators after they took over the library.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the State Department would review the student visas of demonstrators who staged a takeover of the Butler Library at Columbia University. Columbia University Apartheid Divest organized the event in which protestors chanted, carried signs, and vandalized the walls and furniture with graffiti, disrupting students who were studying for finals. Law enforcement arrested 80 of the demonstrators.
“We are reviewing the visa status of the trespassers and vandals who took over Columbia University’s library,” Secretary Rubio stated. “Pro-Hamas thugs are no longer welcome in our great nation.”
House Speaker Mike Johnson responded with gratitude to President Trump and Secretary Rubio. He addressed such protestors, saying, “America will no longer tolerate your antisemitic violence, destruction, harassment, and intimidation.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Rubio as he oversees the State Department’s review of demonstrators in the U.S. on student visas.
