The CBP Home app will assist foreign citizens confirm their return to their homelands.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced this week that President Trump’s administration is offering $1,000 to any illegal alien who self-deports back to their home country, adding that the first individual to take this offer has already been paid.
“The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced a historic opportunity for illegal aliens to receive both financial and travel assistance to facilitate travel back to their home country through the CBP Home App,” the department stated. “Any illegal alien who uses the CBP Home App to self-deport will also receive a stipend of $1000 dollars, paid after their return to their home country has been confirmed through the app.”
DHS explained that this stipend is a less expensive option than forcible removal. The department estimates that each arrest, detention, and removal of illegal immigrants costs $17,121 per person.
“If you are here illegally, self-deportation is the best, safest, and most cost-effective way to leave the United States to avoid arrest,“ DHS Secretary Kristi Noem stated. “This is the safest option for our law enforcement, alience, and is a 70 percent savings for U.S. taxpayers.“ She encouraged illegal foreign nationals to download the app.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Noem to be led by the Lord as she heads the Department of Homeland Security.
- For CBP officials as they facilitate the return of illegal aliens to their home nations.
