Secretary Wright also signed an engineering development agreement with Poland on a nuclear plant.
U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright encouraged European nations to abandon the plan to transition to net-zero emissions. At the Three Seas Initiative in Warsaw, Poland, he promoted the “Energy Freedom and Prosperity for Citizens” strategy of the United States.
Secretary Wright said, “Climate alarmism has clearly reduced energy freedom, and, hence, prosperity and national security across Western Europe.” He urged a focus on science and economics for climate action rather than politics and social science.
Secretary Wright signed an agreement with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk for the construction of Poland’s first nuclear power plant.
Secretary Wright said, “I believe that [the construction of a nuclear power plant] will also mark the beginning of many years of collaboration in this area between Poland and the United States, and we will build more such nuclear reactors, both in Poland and in other countries across Europe, as we possess the appropriate skills, which Polish workers will gain through cooperation with American partners.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Wright to be led by the Lord as he promotes nuclear power and “energy freedom.”
- For U.S. energy officials as they collaborate with the Interior Department to expand energy development on federal lands.
