All-Knowing One

I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. – Jeremiah 9:24

What’s your favorite color? If you suddenly were shown a new range of colors never before seen by the human eye, your opinion might be transformed. It’s been said, “You don’t know what you don’t know until you know it!” God alone is omniscient (knows everything) and unchanging.

You can add a new dimension to your faith today by discovering more of who God is, knowing Him like you have not known Him before. Start by celebrating His Power: “Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm.. Nothing is too hard for you” (Jeremiah 32:17, NIV). Accept the comfort of His companionship: “I will give you a Helper to be with you forever… I will not leave you as orphans” (John 14:16, 18). Follow His guidance: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God who gives generously” (James 1:5). Leave the score keeping to Him: “The heavens declare his righteousness for God himself is judge!“ (Psalm 50:6). Delight in His grace: “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord” (2 Peter 1:2).

Pray for decision makers around this nation and across the globe to expand their knowledge of God by opening their hearts to His Son Jesus Christ. Ask that many will be drawn into a new and meaningful relationship with Him. The world will continue to change but you can be sure your Creator God will be the same.

Today’s Verse: Jeremiah 9:24

but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.”

But this I call to mind,
    and therefore I have hope:
22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
    his mercies never come to an end;
23 they are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness.
24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
    “therefore I will hope in him.”
25 The Lord is good to those who wait for him,
    to the soul who seeks him.
26 It is good that one should wait quietly
    for the salvation of the Lord.
