Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said that the United States will be providing a more than $2.3 billion weapons package for Ukraine. This past week, he met with Ukraine’s Defence Minister Rustem Umerov at the Pentagon.

He said, “This package, under presidential drawdown authority, will provide more air defense interceptors, anti-tank weapons, and other critical munitions from the U.S. inventories.”

Secretary Austin also stated that, at the upcoming NATO Summit, “We will take steps to build a bridge to NATO membership for Ukraine.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For discernment for Secretary Austin as he heads the Defense Department.
  • For Pentagon leaders and officials as they continue to send Ukraine U.S. weapons and armaments.
  • For the president and members of his administration to seek God’s guidance as they support Ukraine in the war with Russia.
