Today, the Senate Finance Committee, chaired by Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon, will hear testimony regarding “The Family First Prevention Services Act: Successes, Roadblocks, and Opportunities for Improvement.”

The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, chaired by Senator Tom Carper of Delaware, is holding a business meeting to consider legislation related to improving reuse and recycling.

The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, chaired by Senator Gary Peters of Michigan, is holding a full committee hearing to examine restoring Congressional oversight over emergency powers. The hearing will focus on exploring options to reform the National Emergencies Act.
