Today, the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, chaired by Senator Sherrod Brown, will hear testimony on “Consumer Protection: Examining Fees in Financial Services and Rental Housing.”

The Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois, is holding a business meeting considering the reauthorization of the COPS ON THE BEAT grant program, an amendment to title 9 of the United States Code with respect to arbitration of disputes involving age discrimination, and four nominees to the federal judicial bench.

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee, chaired by Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland, is considering nominees to the State Department.

The Senate Appropriations Committee’s Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies, chaired by Senator Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin, is examining the budget estimates and justification for the Department of Labor’s 2025 fiscal year request.
