Monday, March 11

President Joe Biden is expected to submit his administration’s fiscal year 2025 budget to Congress today.

The appropriations process for the coming fiscal year has been delayed by the continuation of negotiations for the current one. Congress approved a partial government funding package this past week but faces another deadline of March 22 for the remainder of the federal departments.

The president and members of his administration continue to promote a supplemental security package to provide aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Administrator Shalanda Young as she oversees the Office of Management and Budget.
  • For members of the House and Senate as they continue to deliberate appropriations and foreign aid legislation.
  • For the president and administration officials to receive God’s wisdom regarding proposed government spending.
