Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard Verma has traveled to Fiji, Australia, and Indonesia this week. In Jakarta, the deputy secretary is meeting with permanent representatives of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to discuss cooperation on cooperation on digital economy, artificial intelligence, and cyber issues.

Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Ambassador Bonnie Jenkins is currently in Morocco. She is co-chairing the U.S. Delegation to the Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI) African Political Meeting and Outreach Event.

Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Uzra Zeya has visited Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire this week. In Abidjan, she is raising awareness about the dangers of irregular migration and combatting trafficking in persons.
