Senator Maria Cantwell of Washington, chair of the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee, has been drafting a series of legislation to regulate artificial intelligence.

With Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s support, Senator Cantwell’s comprehensive bills will address deepfakes, algorithmic bias, digital privacy, national security, jobs and training, and AI innovation and competitiveness.

“The rapid advancement of AI innovation has brought forth immense possibilities and opportunities. However, with these advancements come potential challenges and risks that must be addressed in a safe manner,“ the senator and her colleagues wrote earlier this month.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Senator Cantwell as she prepares and finalizes the artificial intelligence regulations.
  • For Senate Majority Leader Schumer as he oversees the crafting of the bills and prepares to schedule them for floor votes.
  • For the president and members of his administration as they implement AI technology.
