Today, Vice President Kamala Harris is kicking off the administration’s nationwide “Fight for Reproductive Freedoms” tour in Wisconsin.
The vice president will speak about the abortion laws in many states that ban or significantly restrict the procedures. She will highlight the measures the president’s administration is taking to ensure access to abortions.
The vice president has convened over 50 meetings with state legislators and state attorneys general as well as health providers and others since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022.
