Defense Secretary Appoints New Reserve Forces Policy Board Chair

The congressionally mandated board advises the Secretary of Defense on strategies, policies, and practices.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has appointed retired Colonel Lisa Disbrow as the new chair of the Reserve Forces Policy Board (RFPB). Disbrow previously served as Undersecretary of the Air Force and Joint Staff Vice Director for Force Structure, Resources, and Assessment.

The board is an independent advisor of the defense secretary regarding reserve components.

Secretary Austin also appointed Stacie Pettyjohn to the RFPB Subcommittee Chair for the Total Force Integration Subcommittee.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Chair Disbrown as she takes over as head of the Reserve Forces Policy Board.
  • For Chair Pettyjohn as she leads the Total Force Integration Subcommittee.
  • For wisdom for the RFPB board members as they advise Secretary Austin.
