The Federal Aviation Administration predicted that Christmas holiday air travel will peak today, predicting just short of 49,000 flights.

FAA officials reported, “Despite a major increase in flights this year, delays and cancellations remain lower than even pre-pandemic levels.“

The FAA has published information regarding unruly passengers and the potential consequences of “failing to follow crew instructions or engaging in disruptive or violent behavior on a plane.“

The FAA encourages travelers to be patient, and pay attention to what they pack, particularly regarding what items must be in checked luggage versus carry-on.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the safety of Christmas travelers and flight crews as tens of thousands of people take commercial flights.
  • For FAA officials as they address air traffic control staff shortages and fatigue.
  • For the president, transportation secretary, and FAA administrator as they seek to ensure the security of the air travel industry.
