The House Financial Services Committee’s Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology, and Inclusion, chaired by Congressman French Hill of Arkansas, is holding a hearing titled “Connecting Communities: Building Innovation Ecosystems Across America.”

The hearing is being held in Little Rock, Arkansas, and both public and private financial officials will testify about the financial products being offered by emerging financial technology companies (fintechs).

The subcommittee describes fintechs as firms that employ “technology to support financial services for consumers or businesses by offering financial products in a new or novel way… including payments, insurance, regulatory and supervisory functions, cybersecurity, among others.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the members of the House subcommittee as they hear testimony regarding the innovative financial dealings of fintechs.
  • For subcommittee Chairman French to be led by the Lord as he oversees the hearing.
  • For members of Congress as they negotiate and deliberate appropriations for the 2024 fiscal year.
  • For the safety of the president as he travels to Nevada and California today.
