Today, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo will participate in the annual Reagan National Defense Forum at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.

Secretary Raimondo will discuss how the Commerce Department is currently at the center of America’s economic and technological competitiveness and national security.

The Department of Commerce has increased its focus on strengthening the global competitiveness of U.S. businesses, improving the security of America’s supply chains, and protecting national security in the realm of technology. Secretary Raimondo has facilitated the implementation of the CHIPS and Science Act, which lays out the administration’s vision to build America’s technological leadership and enhance American manufacturing into the future.
