Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for Me? – Jeremiah 32:27

Can you think of a time when a situation in your life looked impossible, yet God provided a solution and got you through? The prophet Jeremiah reflects Almighty God’s assurance that He can overcome what appears to you to be hopeless, futile, or insurmountable. The odds were against Sarah becoming a mother at 90 years of age (Genesis 17:17, 21:1-3), against Moses when he requested that Pharoah release the Hebrew slaves from Egypt (Exodus 5:1-2, 6:1, 12:31), against Gideon after God had thinned his ranks and armed his men with only trumpets and torches (Judges 7), or against David when he faced the warrior Goliath (1 Samuel 17). The Messiah’s own conception was a miracle. In His word, God clearly shows His ability and willingness to do what is not humanly possible. Take heart today to believe in His loving kindness and His good purposes for your life.

As the Lord leads, pray with us…

  • For believers who hold governing office to rely on the Lord for strength and breakthroughs as they serve.
  • For the president and his administration to seek God’s wisdom as they make policies for the nation.
