President Biden declared October National Disability Employment Awareness Month. He issued a proclamation, stating, “People with disabilities have long strengthened our economy and expanded our Nation’s possibilities.“

He continued, “During National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we recognize the immense contributions of disabled Americans, and we recommit to delivering America’s full promise of equal dignity, respect, and opportunity for every American.“

The president concluded, “As we celebrate the progress we have made, may we continue to open the doors of opportunity even wider for people with disabilities by advancing access and equity.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Assistant Secretary Taryn Williams as she heads the Labor Department’s Office of Disability Employment Policy.
  • For the president and members of his Cabinet as they promote the employment of those with special needs.
  • For God’s strength and provision for disabled individuals and their families.
