Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Ambassador Bonnie Jenkins is returning from Vienna, Austria. This week was the 67th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Under Secretary Jenkins expressed the commitment of the U.S. to nonproliferation, the promotion of the peaceful use of nuclear technology, and support for Ukraine.

Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm headed the delegation that included Under Secretary Jenkins and other State and Energy Department officials.

Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Todd Robinson and Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) Deputy Director Adam Cohen have concluded their visit to Colombia. They co-led a delegation to the U.S.-Colombia Counternarcotics Working Group (CNWG) this week. Assistant Secretary Robinson reviewed programs in Colombia intended to reduce drug production and trafficking as well as illegal mining operations while supporting law enforcement and upholding human rights.
