President Biden to Attend UN General Assembly

One side meeting will be with Prime Minister Netanyahu.

President Joe Biden is scheduled to attend the United Nations General Assembly in New York this week. He will deliver the traditional welcome address to the world leaders. On the sidelines of the meeting, the president is expected to meet with Ukrainian President Zelensky, who will also visit the White House and Capitol this week.

The president is also expected to have a face-to-face meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. National security adviser Jake Sullivan said the two will “discuss a range of bilateral and regional issues focused on the shared democratic values between the United States and Israel, and a vision for a more stable and  prosperous and integrated region.” They will also be comparing “notes on effectively countering and deterring Iran,” he said.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president to look to the Lord for wisdom and for direction in his discussions with the other nations’ leaders.
  • For God to accomplish His will through the meetings of the international officials.
