Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. – John 17:17
The word of God gives life. Think of it, He spoke the world into being! Humanity lives by every word that proceeds from His mouth (Deuteronomy 8:3; Matthew 4:4) How important it is to hide God’s word in your heart (Psalm 119:11). The sanctification process separates the believers from what is commonly accepted by the world. In a world in which people are confused about what to believe, the truth of the Lord endures. Pray today for public officials to seek the Lord’s truth as they serve their constituents and fulfill their roles in office. As you go about your day, meditate on Scripture to renew your mind, so you know the truth. Seek to fellowship with those who encourage you in, and point you to, His truth. God is the same, yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). His truth endures to all generations (Psalm 100:5).
