White House Supports Initiative for Unhoused Homelessness

ALL INside to reduce unsheltered homelessness by 25 percent in two years.

The White House recently announced the launch of a new initiative called ALL INside, an administration-wide effort to reduce unsheltered homelessness in America. Led by the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness, the 19 agencies of the federal government will partner with state and local officials to provide unsheltered people homes in select areas of the country, namely Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Phoenix metro, Seattle, and the State of California.

To assist in this effort, President Biden’s administration will offer support to participating communities for two years, stationing a dedicated federal official in each community, organizing dedicated teams to assist with financial and legislative hurdles, and bringing together the private and non-profit sectors for support and collaboration. The White House hopes that these and other parts of the initiative will reduce homelessness by 25 percent in the next two years.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president and his White House advisors as they seek to reduce the population of unsheltered homeless.
  • For the leaders of major metropolitan areas who will be participating in the initiative.
  • For all the individuals who are living without a place to call home.
