President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are in Canada today. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said, “President Biden will reaffirm the United States’ commitment to the U.S.-Canada partnership and promote our shared security, shared prosperity, and shared values.“

She said President Biden will “meet with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to discuss defense cooperation and modernizing the North American Aerospace Defense Command, strengthening supply chain resilience, taking bold action to combat climate change and accelerate the clean energy transition, and working together on regional challenges, including instability in Haiti.“

The press secretary also said the two leaders will “discuss ongoing efforts to support Ukraine“ and “enhanced collaboration to address the synthetic opioid crisis that has devastated both countries.“

President Biden will address the Canadian Parliament regarding the importance of the relationship between the United States and Canada.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Biden to seek God’s guidance as he meets with Prime Minister Trudeau.
  • For wisdom for the president as he holds discussions with Canadian leaders.
  • For the president and his administration as they determine how they will cooperate or collaborate with the Canadian government.
