House Judiciary Committee Calls Manhattan DA to Testify

Allegations have been made against Former President Trump regarding campaign finances.

Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Representative Jim Jordan of Ohio, has called for the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to testify before Congress. The district attorney has reportedly been preparing an indictment against former President Donald Trump surrounding the improper use of campaign funds.

As rumors have swirled regarding the possible arrest of President Trump, Congressman Jordan called the legal proceedings an “unprecedented abuse of prosecutorial authority.“ The letter he wrote to the Manhattan DA was also signed by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer of Kentucky, and House Committee on Administration Chairman Brian Steil of Wisconsin.

Chairman Jordan expressed concerns about an indictment, stating that such a move “will erode confidence in the evenhanded application of justice and unalterably interfere in the court of the 2024 presidential election.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For wisdom for Representative Jordan as he investigates the situation with the Manhattan district attorney.
  • For DA Bragg to seek God’s guidance as he considers the testimony of witnesses in the possible indictment.
  • For former President Trump as he continues to face legal proceedings.
