Senator Fetterman Hospitalized for Depression

He checked himself into Walter Reed.

Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania continues to struggle with the aftereffects of a stroke he suffered during the campaign last year. He had earlier been hospitalized for lightheadedness and dizziness, and now he has checked himself into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to seek treatment for clinical depression.

The freshman senator’s chief of staff stated, “While John has experienced depression off and on throughout his life, it only became severe in recent weeks. … He is receiving treatment on a voluntary basis.”

He added, “After examining John, the doctors at Walter Reed said that John is getting the care he needs, and will soon be back to himself.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Senator Fetterman to receive the help and treatment that he needs.
  • For discernment for the doctors and medical staff as they treat the freshman senator.
