Second Gentleman will Travel to Germany and Poland

He will address antisemitism and promote remembrance of the Holocaust.

The White House has announced that Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, will go to Poland, and Germany at the end of this month, representing the president’s administration in the effort to prevent antisemitism and in the remembrance of the Holocaust.

The White House stated, “In both Krakow and Berlin, the Second Gentleman will participate in a series of engagements with local Jewish communities and civil society representatives and visit historical and cultural sites.“

The second gentleman will be joined by U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism, Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt.
