Today, President Joe Biden is in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He will participate in a meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated that the president will “reaffirm the United States’ strong support for ASEAN centrality and build on the achievements of the historic U.S.-ASEAN Special Summit that was held in Washington, D.C., earlier this year.“
She added, “He will also hold a bilateral meeting with 2022 ASEAN Chair, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen.“
