Tuesday, November 1

Today, President Joe Biden is traveling to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to take part in events focused on reminding Americans to vote in the upcoming midterm elections. Due to the president’s previous trips to Florida being postponed or canceled because of severe hurricane weather, he will also meet with local residents to share what the administration is doing to lower healthcare costs for Americans.

When speaking ahead of his Florida visit, the president said, “Over the last few years, we’ve faced some of the most difficult challenges in our history, but we’re actually making progress helping folks get just a little more breathing room.” He added, “Lowering healthcare costs and strengthening Medicare is a big part of progress that we’ve been making on inflation.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For safety for the president and first lady as they travel today.
  • For the president to seek God’s wisdom as he speaks to residents and officials in Florida.
  • For God to direct the plans of the president as he looks for ways to address the price of medication and healthcare.
