Today, President Joe Biden is traveling to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he will address the nation on the state of affairs and on what he and the administration is doing to meet the needs of the American people. White House Press Secretary Karine-Jean-Pierre said, “President Biden will give a primetime speech … on the continued battle of the soul of the nation in Independence National Historic Park in Philadelphia.”
“He will speak about how the core values of this nation, our standing in the world, our democracy, are at stake,” the press secretary added. “He will talk about the progress we have made as a nation to protect our democracy, but how our rights and freedoms are still under attack.” She continued, “We will make clear who is fighting for those rights, fighting for those freedoms, and fighting for our democracy.”
