Supreme Court Declines Administration’s Immigration Request

the court said it will fast-track an administration appeal in December.

Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to reinstate President Joe Biden’s policy that shifts the focus of America’s immigration enforcement toward public safety threats. Texas and Louisiana have challenged that plan as unlawful.

The justices denied the request by President Biden’s administration to block a federal judge’s ruling that had prevented immigration officials from carrying out the enforcement guidelines while litigation over the legality of the policy continues.

But the court said in a brief order that it would fast-track the administration’s appeal and hear oral arguments in December.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the justices of the Supreme Court to seek God’s guidance as they hear and consider cases.
  • For the justices and federal judges to have wisdom as they interpret case law.
  • For the president and his administration to evaluate the immigration policies and stances they have implemented.
