Today at the White House, President Joe Biden is hosting President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador of Mexico. President Lopez Obrador refused to participate in the Summit of the Americas last month when Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Cuba were not invited.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated, “The leaders will discuss their efforts to address global challenges, such as food security, and discuss joint competitiveness initiatives, such as work being undertaken in the U.S.-Mexico High-Level Economic Dialogue.“

She continued, “They also plan to discuss their visions for North America, cooperation on migration, joint development efforts in Central America, security, climate and energy, and global issues.“

The press secretary added, “The First Lady of the United States Jill Biden will also host Ms. Beatriz Gutierrez Müller, First Lady of Mexico.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president to seek guidance from the Lord in meeting with the Mexican president.
  • For the purposes of God to be accomplished through the presidents’ discussions.
  • For wisdom for the president and his advisors as they collaborate with foreign leaders.
