In the News…

In recent months, the Food and Drug Administration and other federal agencies have struggled to explain their responses to varied issues the American public is facing.

Concerns over health issues, inflation, fuel costs, and supply chains have accumulated. Of particular interest in a recent Senate hearing was the FDA’s role in simultaneous efforts to address the pandemic and ease a shortage of infant formula while at the same time working to protect abortion interests.

Senator Patty Murray expressed these frustrations to the FDA regarding its actions. “There were plenty of warning signs about this crisis,” she said. “And it seems like people responsible for safety and supply here just blew through each and every one of them.”
