Legislators Ask that Jane’s Revenge be Classified as Domestic Terrorists

Group has vowed riots and demonstrations after abortion decision is released.

Twenty-nine members of the House of Representatives led by Representative Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma are calling for members of the radical abortion group Jane’s Revenge to be investigated as domestic terrorists.

In a letter to the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI, they stated, “These violent acts violate U.S. and State law, and the group itself has claimed intent to intimidate civilians and government officials. You must use the full extent of your powers under the law to fully prosecute these criminals and prevent further crime.”

The letter quotes a message from the group on June 14 which pledged “increasingly drastic measures” against pro-life centers that “may not come in the form of something so easily cleaned up as fire and graffiti.”

“It is clear by their threats that the members of this group have no regard for human life and may be willing to kill those in the pro-life community to further their politically motivated agenda,” the legislators’ letter said.

Jane’s Revenge has claimed responsibility for over 15 of the recent attacks on pro-life centers and churches, which now total more than 40. They have also distributed flyers calling for a “night of rage” on the day Roe v. Wade is overturned by the Supreme Court.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For members of Congress as they seek to safeguard public safety and order.
  • For the justices of the Supreme Court as they prepare to release the decision in the Mississippi abortion case.
  • For DHS Secretary Mayorkas and FBI Director Wray as they respond to legislators’ requests.
