Wednesday, May 11

Today, President Joe Biden is traveling to Chicago, Illinois. He will visit a family farm in Kankakee and discuss the food supply chain and rising costs.

The president will also speak at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) International Convention at McCormick Place Convention Center.

Last month, Vice President Harris had spoken with IBEW workers regarding the commitment of the president’s administration to union labor and the collaboration she anticipated to come out of the bipartisan infrastructure legislation.

The infrastructure bill that passed last November provides for a national network of charging stations for electric-powered vehicles. The electrical workers’ organization has prepared a training program that will support the electric transportation infrastructure being promoted and implemented by the administration.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president and his administration as they pursue the development of electric vehicle infrastructure.
  • For discernment and clarity for U.S. officials as inflation increases and the food supply chain weakens.
  • For safety for the president as he flies to Illinois.
