DOT Publishes Funding Opportunity through RAISE Grants

$1.5 billion will be available for significant construction projects.

The U.S. Department of Transportation published a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) last week that made $1.5 billion in funding available through the Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant program. Applicants may submit a variety of projects to receive grant funding since they are reviewed primarily for community impact. Bus lanes, bridge repair, railroad tracks, and dock replacements are all possibilities, and 700 such projects have been funded since the grant’s implementation.

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg stated, “This year, thanks to the President’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we can support more projects than ever, and help make our transportation system safer, more accessible, and more sustainable for people across the country,”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president and his administration to seek God’s wisdom in allocating infrastructure funding.
  • For discernment for Secretary Buttigieg as he oversees infrastructure disbursements and projects.
  • For U.S. officials to invest the funding efficiently and to the benefit of the majority of Americans.
