HHS Distributes $2 Billion for Provider Relief

Fourth phase of Provider Relief Fund kicks in.

The Department of Health and Human Services announced this week that Phase 4 of the Provider Relief Fund would be distributed to 7,600 healthcare providers in the coming week. This most recent wave will provide $2 billion to help hospitals remain in operation and cover a number of operational costs, adding to the $9 billion already distributed by the Provider Relief Fund through the HHS.

Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said, “Provider Relief Fund payments have served as a lifeline for our nation’s heroic health care providers throughout the pandemic, helping them to continue to recruit and retain staff and deliver care to their communities.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president to seek God’s wisdom.
  • For the Lord’s will to be accomplished.
