President Going to Kentucky Wednesday

He has already signed emergency declarations.

The White House announced that President Biden will travel to Kentucky on Wednesday to view damage from last Friday night’s devastating tornados that killed at least 64 people and displaced thousands more.

While his itinerary is still developing, he plans to visit Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, for a briefing on response operations, and then go to hard-hit Mayfield and Dawson Springs to survey the damage there.

The president has already signed emergency declarations for Kentucky and said he stands ready to do the same for Illinois. He has ordered his administration to make every resource available to local and state officials in areas impacted by the severe weather.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president and his advisors as they make preparations to survey the damage from the massive tornado outbreak.
  • For the people in areas hit by the tornados as they begin to make preparations for relocation or rebuilding.
  • For families who have lost loved ones in the storms.
  • For first responders who are still working on rescue or recovery efforts as there are still individuals not accounted for.
