Christmas Tree Permits Available in NM and WY

The Bureau of Land Management announced availability starting November 22.

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announced the availability of Christmas tree permits in New Mexico and Wyoming beginning November 22. Permits and maps are available at BLM offices in the respective states or may be obtained online.

The Wyoming office stated, ” Christmas trees harvested from aspen stands and dense young stands will contribute to forest health and improve wildlife habitat.” The agency cautions, “When transporting a tree taken from BLM public land, the haul tag provided with the permit must be attached to the tree.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For officials in the Bureau of Land Management as they seek to support forest management.
  • For safety for those cutting their own Christmas trees.
  • For Americans to focus their celebrations on the birth of the Messiah this season.
