President Joe Biden is leaving for Europe today for his second foreign trip since taking office. He will spend the day traveling before taking part in meetings on Friday. While in Rome, Italy, the president will meet with Pope Frances and then take part in the G20 summit.

Ahead of the trip, United States National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan spoke about the president’s itinerary, “In Rome, he’ll start on Friday with a meeting with Pope Francis, followed by a bilateral program with our Italian hosts, including meetings with the Italian President and Italian Prime Minister Draghi.  He’ll also meet with French President Emmanuel Macron on Friday.”

Advisor Sullivan added, “The trip is going to give the president an opportunity to advance some of his highest affirmative priorities on behalf of the American people.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For God to guide and direct the president as he works with economic partners to address various global issues.
  • For wisdom for the president as he prepares to meet with world leaders at the G20 Summit.
  • For safety for the president as he travels.
