Today, President Joe Biden will take part in the first-ever in-person meeting of the Quad Leaders. According to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, “President Biden is looking forward to welcoming to the White House Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India, and Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga of Japan.”

When speaking about their agenda, she added, “The Quad Leaders will be focused on deepening our ties and advancing practical cooperation on areas such as combatting COVID-19, addressing the climate crisis, partnering on emerging technologies and cyberspace, and promoting a free and open Indo-Pacific.”

The president will also host separate bilateral meetings with Indian Prime Minister Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Suga to discuss issues that are unique to the United States’ relationship with each respective country.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For God to direct the agenda of today’s meeting of the Quad as they look for ways to address global issues.
  • For wisdom for the president as he works with Prime Minister Modi on the many issues shared by both nations.
  • For the president to seek God’s guidance as he meets with Prime Minister Suga today.
