90-day deadline to receive raw data reports.
House Oversight and Reform Committee member Representative James Comer of Kentucky is requesting all the raw data surrounding the origins of COVID-19 from the intelligence community. President Biden directed National Intelligence to investigate the matter for 90 days. On August 27, they released an assessment of their findings, reporting that though they could confidently say COVID-19 is not a biological weapon, the natural origins were inconclusive.
“Unfortunately, the Assessment on COVID-19 Origins… only served to provide more confusion providing the American public with a vague, two-page unclassified summary,“ Congressman Comer said in a letter to Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines. “This is an unacceptable response that gives the American people little confidence our country is prepared for the next pandemic,”
