Half of U.S. Population Fully Vaccinated

White House says the uptick in recent vaccination count is promising.

The announcement was made on Friday by White House Data Director Cyrus Shahpar that 50 percent of all Americans are now fully vaccinated against the coronavirus, including citizens 12 and under who cannot receive the vaccine. Over 70% of eligible voters are at least partially vaccinated, with the seven-day average of newly vaccinated people rising by 44% in the past two weeks.

White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Jeff Zients noted this rise in daily vaccination rates with optimism during a briefing last week. “Clearly, Americans are seeing the impact of being unvaccinated and unprotected, and they’re responding by doing their part, rolling up their sleeves, and getting vaccinated,” CoordinatorZients said.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Data Director Shahpar as he provides updated information to the White House.
  • That Coordinator Zients would have discernment as he heads the White House Response Team.
  • For wisdom for the president and his advisors as the coronavirus weakens in strength.
