Migrants Being Smuggled in Trains and Cars

Rio Grande Valley border agents apprehend dozens of migrants.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector arrested dozens of migrants last week that were smuggled into the country via train and automobiles, or discovered in stash houses. Most of the migrants are Mexican, Guatemalan, or Ecuadorian citizens.

Over a dozen adult migrants were found in a car hauler train in Robstown, Texas. Two large SUVs were spotted by camera surveillance in McAllen, Texas, but migrants were only recovered from one of the smuggling vehicles. Smuggled migrants fled from a black sedan that was intercepted by border agents in Donna, Texas. Some people were discovered in the trunk of the car where they had been concealed for transport.

The CBP has published a number on their website for Americans to report crime or suspicious activity.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For CBP agents as they work to contain the stream of migrants entering the nation.
  • For the president, vice president, and administration to have wisdom in handling border security.
  • For the protection of U.S. citizens living along the Mexican border as well as the migrants being trafficked.
