Vice President Travels to Central America

Discussions ranging from migration to labor and economic policy.

On Monday, Vice President Harris arrived in Guatemala City to begin a two-day trip aimed at addressing some of the challenges that the United States has faced from increased migrant arrivals along the U.S. southern border. She will also travel to Mexico to meet with the leaders of both countries – President Alejandro Giammattei of Guatemala, and President Andres Manuel Lopez of Mexico.

In addition to her top-level discussions with both leaders, the vice president will also meet with female entrepreneurs, and hold a meeting with labor leaders to discuss economic policy. A major topic for Vice President Harris will be the recent announcement by President Biden’s administration of increased COVID-19 vaccine international distribution.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Vice President Harris to seek God’s guidance for her meetings with the Central American heads of state.
  • For safety for the vice president and her staff safe as they travel.
  • For the Lord to help the upcoming conversations to bring about His purposes.
