White House Increases Vaccine Sharing

Announces 25 million doses promised to struggling nations.

On Thursday, President Biden announced that the United States would begin to increase the number of vaccines donated to countries around the world that are struggling with their own distribution. A total of 25 million doses are set to be sent overseas through the United Nation’s COVAX program. So far the program has distributed 76 million total doses.

President Biden explained the importance of international cooperation saying, “As long as this pandemic is raging anywhere in the world, the American people will still be vulnerable. And the United States is committed to bringing the same urgency to international vaccination efforts that we have demonstrated at home.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For God’s will to be accomplished as doses are sent from the U.S. to other nations.
  • That the president and his administration would seek God’s direction as they cooperate with the United Nations’ COVAX program.
  • That God would bring about an end to the global pandemic.
