President Schedules First Overseas Trip

Plans are to travel to the UK and Belgium in June.

The White House announced Friday that President Joe Biden is scheduling a visit to the United Kingdom and Belgium this June. It will be the president’s first time traveling overseas since he assumed office. He plans to attend the G7 summit in Cornwall, which will be the first in-person meeting of the G7 nations in two years. The president will then participate in the NATO summit in Brussels.

White House Press Secretary Psaki stated, “This trip will highlight his commitment to restoring our alliances, revitalizing the Transatlantic relationship, and working in close cooperation with our allies and multilateral partners to address global challenges and better secure America’s interests.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the Secret Service as they prepare for the president’s overseas trip.
  • That God would help the U.S. build strong alliances with partner nations.
  • For discernment for President Biden as he holds meetings and discussions leading up to the summits.
