House Members Push for NY Governor to Resign

Governor Cuomo currently under investigation.

Prominent members of the House of Representatives are calling for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to resign after six women have come forward with allegations of sexual harassment. The governor has indicated he will not leave office, though an internal investigation into the matter is currently underway. Fifty-five members of the New York State legislature have also called for the governor’s resignation.

“Governor Cuomo has lost the confidence of the people of New York,” said House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler. “Governor Cuomo must resign. The repeated accusations against the governor, and the manner in which he has responded to them, have made it impossible for him to continue to govern at this point.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For justice and accountability to be upheld among U.S. public servants at every level of government.
  • That members of the House of Representatives would seek to uphold the law and truth.
